Make me blush in a pleated mini dress

Hello, it’s me Bad to the Blonde. A pleated mini dress literally makes me blush. I feel pretty, oh, so pretty! (My high school best friend and I used to sing that.) And like everything I say <insert title of blog post>…pun intended.

Dress me up

I love dresses! There is no easier outfit to wear than a dress. Dress it up. Dress it down. Wear a short dress. Or wear a long. Am I wearing underwear? Only I would know. Another key point – bras are optional. Especially since most of the time they don’t work with a dress anyway.

This mini pleated dress in blush is one of my favorites and I can’t wait to wear it on a date! It was cheap (under $30.00 from Forever 21). It is simple. It is beautiful. Beautiful like a pretty blush – the color of this dress reminds me of a soft blushy blush. (That doesn’t even make sense!?)

Dress for the occasion

When I put this dress on (yep, I actually tried something on) I totally thought how perfect it would be to wear for a date night or first date, or even a casual white wine tasting. Clearly, being single is getting to me and I need to get out more…but at least I dress cute. Pun intended.

It has been over a year now since I broke up with Brandon and we went our separate ways. I haven’t gone shopping in a long time and a few months ago I went and stocked up on dresses that I could wear on dates. Or to Vegas. Or on a vacation. I’m trying to get out more.

A love affair

I want to wear this dress and blush. Literally. I want “him” to make me blush. Most likely, I will blush because I know that he knows that I know that I look pretty. Make me blush in my blush dress. Man I am dreaming…cue the music.

Simply dress

Simple dress. Simple color. Simply paired. Simply accessorized. Or simply not. Simple look. Because I like to keep it simple.

For once I didn’t wear any jewelry…not even a cuff. (Or a bra because the back of this dress just won’t allow for one.) Since the style is very flattering and the pleated look has a lot going on – I just focused on my shoes to dress it up a little more. These wooden heeled, gold zipped pumps are my my favorite. Even with a 4″ heel, I can rock them all night like a long night in Vegas. Believe me, it has been done.
