Hello, it’s me Bad to the Blonde. The one thing I’m feeling lately is tweed. (Insert British accent.) It pairs so well with anything. A white crop cable sweater with balloon sleeves. A glass of red wine. You get the point. Menswear can be so, well, manly. Until, some badass women got a hold of it. Here’s my take on the latest trend in mini skirts with a bootie inspired from the wine bottle. Like I said, wine pairs well with everything.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way
If there’s a will, there’s a wine, I mean a way…to feminize some trends. Side note, from the early 1800s, we’ve been saying “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. Possibly since 1640 according to a quick Google search. Surprisingly, this is the inspiration for this style blog. The proverb means being motivated and determined. Like if a person really wants to do something, he or she will find a way around obstacles and do it. Coco Chanel used menswear to inspire many of her fashion designs. Look at what an icon and legacy she left behind. Cheers, girl.
Well, that’s my goal. With it already the middle of November, the end of 2018 has been like fast fashion – I literally can’t keep up. And since the end of another amazing year alive and breathing is yet upon us, and the list of New Years resolution begins, what do you desire? What are you determined to do? I have accomplished a successful (and relaxing) method for accomplishing style blogging. All it takes is one glass of wine and we have another style blog post that’s live.
For now, cheers. Whatever has happened up to this point for the year- it’s been real and I am excited for what’s to come. Like what’s next in the mini skirt trend. Tweedle did, tweed be done.
