How to wear the felt hat trend with denim

Hello, it’s me Bad to the Blonde. The felt fedora hat is this season’s hottest accessory and the fanny pack is now a thing of the past. I was stoked when I found a brand new one, and the tags were still on it, on Poshmark for half the price. Familiar with Brixton hats, it was the highest quality and most stylish brown floppy hat I could find to complete many different fall outfits. Think about how cute it would look with a floral shirt and denim jeans or a flannel – maybe I’ll blog that next. Anyway, while I was searching the blue bow accent caught my eye and I loved the pop of color. Compared to one with a typical band or buckle this felt hat has a different look that’s more stylish. It’s now available in wine so I’m adding that to my Christmas list.

Winter outfits in Arizona are straight fall style since it clearly doesn’t get that cold here. Lucky me. Pun intended. This denim shirt dress is from Lucky Brand. To point out, it was on the sale rack and I think it was only $20 or $30! Because that store can get expensive always look on the sale rack! Maybe you’ll get lucky and a find a silhouette for season’s to come. No matter what, the quality of Lucky denim is well worth the money.

Denim with fringe is essential to Western style. Uncuffed and not tailored has this outfit looking laid back and country. The curved hem and front pockets add style so it’s not straight 90s like the denim fashion of the past yet. Finish the look with wide brim felt hat for a truly Western look (I like to use denim pieces to complete street style looks) that isn’t too cowgirl. Skip the daisy dukes and cowgirl boots. It ain’t the clothes that make a cowgirl – it’s the attitude and heart. Giddyup.
