One way to dress up a logo sweatshirt

Hello, it’s me Bad to the Blonde. Fall has a new sweater and it goes by the name sweatshirt. Lately the logo sweatshirt and sweater have become interchangable in fashion articles and street styling so that tells me two things: 1. The pieces are equally stylish. 2. They are versatile for wearing from day to night.

However, the sweatshirt has a few key features that are underrated and “one up” the sweater. Often with a fleece lining, a sweatshirt tends to provide more warmth for all day comfort. I choose the sweatshirt over the sweater because cotton and cotton blends won’t snag on my ring or jewelry like knit and woven fabrications. Every chenille and knit sweater in my closet is snagged. No matter what someone tells you a sweater is not a “throw on and go” piece if you wear jewerly!

A logo sweatshirt is the new athleisure

Few silhouettes can go from sweat to style. Ladies, it’s time we swap out leggings for the sweatshirt, and up your athleisure game. New classic crewnecks in the shop are inspired from nineties brand logos. The rise of the statement sweatshirt has a fashion forward look pulled together by a play on words and creative artwork.

Couture has taken lounging to the streets. So add a logo sweatshirt to the cart and style it up with a chic leather look for an influencer worthy outfit. The trend has made originality the new luxury. Finally, your version of the runway look is worthy of a Pinterest pin.

Old school is cool

Logo sweatshirts bring us back to the nineties with old school motifs that are cool again. Lately, I’ve had the urge to play with high school styles for new looks that make me feel like a kid again. The mini skirts hanging in my closet have also been staring at me. And it’s fall boot season.

Dressing up a sweatshirt for date night was easy since Champion has nothing on Gucci. A look versatile enough to wear to the office was simply styled with a skirt. Size up in a fashion sweatshirt for an oversized look with a maxi skirt and go for more fitted with a mini skirt. Dress it down with sneakers or go for runway inspiration with knee high boots.

The biker chick in me went for a tough-girl vibe with a patent faux leather mini skirt and a boujee sweatshirt to keep it cool. Ditch your jeans for trending textures this season. The spectrum of mini skirts from corduroy to fabrics that shine pair back to any pullover. This outfit combination is a little luxe, a lot of edgy and totally trendy.
