Hello, it’s me Bad to the Blonde. Spring has sprung in this shopping spree. After going to the gun range and wanting to go back to Sturgis in this sweatshirt, here is what I had to add to the cart this month.
Brows on a budget
After a brow-tastrophe left me with Pam Anderson eyebrows for the last two months ago, let’s just say that the grow out process has been just as painful. Microblading is not in the budget but a few tools and tricks will fill them out. A quick brow flip with Anastasia dipbrow tinted gel for $20 is…instead of $2,000. Microblading requires maintenance.
Biker babe brand
A vintage Harley Davidson sweatshirt is a staple no matter what season. After shooting three national ad campaigns for the manufacturer and growing up around the brand, I don’t have to take anymore of Murph’s old bike week tees because I scored one of my own and it fits my personality.
Layer an oversized crew neck with an oversized Levi’s trucker jacket for a biker babe outfit. As a six time Sturgis survivor and motorcycle model and rider, please watch for motorcycles and not just vintage finds.
Fun with guns
There are plenty of cute outfits to wear to target practice. I wore a longline split hem sweater last time I went shooting but ear plugs didn’t complete the outfit. Look who’s going to the gun range in style in these leopard print ear muffs. The electronic communication style headset brought me right back to my trackside reporting days. With a volume control knob, the noise out but style on.
Sneaker season
Officially am putting the snow boots away…spring means it’s finally sneaker season. Colorful colors are coming out of hibernation and hitting the streets. Just add to cart now before these hot pink sneakers sell out!
Attract light and look more awake
Cookies and cheekbones didn’t go together in the same sentence until this highlighter powder. Girl Scout cookies will make you pack on the calories, and often times, weight gain goes straight to your face. Sculpt your cheeks in a sweep with this sweet shimmer highlighter! Oh, it’s calorie free. Pun intended.
